The mission of Adopt GA is to ultimately serve children in care, by providing adoptive parents a community of peer support, resource referrals, and mentorship, in order to increase successful adoptions.
AdoptUSKids is a project of the Children’s Bureau, operated through a cooperative agreement between the Bureau and the Adoption Exchange Association.
Our mission is to:
Raise public awareness about the need for foster and adoptive families for children in the public child welfare system
Assist US states, territories, and tribes to recruit, engage, develop and support foster and adoptive families
It's My Turn Now
It's My Turn Now Georgia (IMTNGA) publicizes the need for permanent homes for children from the Georgia foster care system in hopes of bringing together caring parents and waiting children to make forever families. A photolisting of these children can be viewed under the Meet the Children tab.
Wednesday's Child (WC)- Georgia is a partnership of WAGA Fox 5 TV - Atlanta and the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services Permanency Unit. An award winning program with a proven track record of success, is a national campaign to increase the number of adoptions of children in foster care.
