Adoptions & Foster Care

Love adoption?

LET'S BE FRIENDS!

Fostering

There are many children in the State of Georgia that are in need of a loving, caring, supportive family. Do you have what it takes to become a foster parent? We can help. Get involved today. A young person needs you!

You don't have to be perfect to be the perfect parent for a child in foster care. Reach out today.

Fostering Process

Over 15,000 children are in the Georgia foster care system. Currently 60% of those children are reunified with their family members and are able to return home. While fostering a child in your home may be temporary, it provides a lifetime of benefits for a child.

Being a foster parent is not the easiest job in the world and most foster parents encounter situations that are challenging. CHRIS Adoptions & Foster Care provides our foster parents with resources that support them within the home, additional trainings, and community resources.

There are different ways you can get involved as a foster parent, a few include:

  • Traditional Foster Care

  • Therapeutic Foster Care

  • Respite Care

  • Emergency Care

  • Foster - to - Adopt

Why CHRIS 180?

CHRIS 180 operates within the philosophy that we are all a team and that in order to provide adequate care and services to our children, we must work together! Here are a few more reasons why our families love us:

  • Our Foster Care Specialists are on-call for our families 24 hours a day and work in partnership with each other to ensure that our families receive the care they need.

  • We work with our families to complete referrals for any necessary therapeutic or medical services.

  • We coordinate several trainings every year in order for our families to get the required continuing education hours they need for re-approval.

  • We know that it can't be all work and no play, which is why we host Family Fun Days twice a year. We have gone to the Georgia Aquarium, Grant Park Zoo, Atlanta Dream games, and several other fun day trips!
